How did you get into this artisan keycap crafting?
Mr. KeeBirb gifted me a GMMK White Ice full size keyboard for my birthday, and as I was trying to find the perfect keycap set, I discovered that there is a large community for artisan keycaps! However I was unable to find any artisan keycaps for budgies or parrots at that time.
I thought it would be fun if I could make myself budgie and parrot keycaps!!
Are you a full-time artisan keycap maker?
No, I am working full-time at an accounting firm, and I am currently studying for getting a CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant).
Where are you from?
I am Japanese and I was born/raised in Japan!
I immigrated to Canada all by myself when I was 21 because I found it was way too stressful living in Japan, especially in Tokyo where I am from.
There were quite a few years where I struggled with learning English and settling into a different country, but yay I did it! :)
Do you have a pet?
Yes! I have two beautiful budgies, Fuji and Haku! Fuji is the model for KeeBirb's logo and I get lots of inspiration from him!
